When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by September 30th, so we can have an accurate headcount to book the hotel in advance. :)

What will the weather be like?

Expect daytime highs between 70–85°F and evening lows around 64°F. It’s warm enough for beach fun and cool enough for dancing under the stars, just bring a light layer for breezy nights.

The water temperature hovers around 67°F, so if you're planning to dip in, hours around noon are your best friend. July is also one of the least windy months, making it ideal for our celebration, boat rides, and all the seaside sparkles.

Catalina Express

Is the plan to take the ferry on Saturday morning?

The kids, Jerry and I are planning to get to Catalina early Saturday morning, so we get a head start on having island fun. Luggage can be stored at the Hermosa Hotel prior to checking in and after checking out.

You are welcome to go with our plan or choose when you arrive and depart the island. Just let us know to reserve your tickets. Or... even better... you reserve your tickets and we reimburse you.

Feeling seasick? 

You're not alone, it happens! We recommend grabbing Sea-Bands, Dramamine, or ginger chews from Amazon so you can enjoy the ride (and the party) without worry.

Hermosa Hotel

Do you know how the hotel and cottages are different in terms of location? Like the hotel is within the hotel but the cottage is somewhere else? We don't want to be isolated... We'd like to stay near everyone else too. Hope that makes sense.

It makes a lot of sense. It’s how we feel as well. Hermosa Hotel is a good choice, because it has enough rooms to fit all of us. The following is a diagram of the hotel properties.

Most of the cottages seem to have kitchens and their own bathrooms. The hotel seems to just have rooms. Some of the hotel rooms have bathrooms, while other rooms have shared bathrooms.

Jerry and I are likely going to get “Ocean View Deluxe Cottage”, which is at the top of the cottages. So our cottage can be used for other contingencies--peeps lose their room(s), peeps want to cook, peeps want to work, peeps need more space, etc. And you are all welcome to come hang out with us in the living room, in the kitchen, and on the deck.
