Love Tale of a Short Yordle and a Tall Mermaid

One fateful night, a short, rounded, pretty Yordle holding a big cannon was paired with a skinny, tall, cute Mermaid carrying a long staff. The two female strangers walked down a lonely, magical forest path that led to an arcane tower. Their height discrepancy could only be described in funny ways. Nevertheless, as the two gals guarded and protected the ominous tower against common enemies, they sensed a mystical connection that the two had never felt before in the woods of Summoner’s Rift.

Tristana, the beguiling Yordle, sensed the giving nature of this winsome Mermaid as the stranger played interference to all incoming attacks, without a word of complaint. On the other hand, Nami, the alluring Mermaid felt a comforting strength in aggression and protection when the little Yordle jumped fearlessly onto the enemies that she had trapped in bubbles.

After the righteous battle in the spellbinding forest, Tristana invited Nami to be friends, which Nami accepted eagerly. From that night forth, the two became an inseparable, powerful ally that vowed to defend justice for all.

Maybe defending justice is a bit too farfetched. But the two strangers soon could not wait to partner up in the mysterious forest night after night. Tristana would say, “nice job”, while Nami would respond, “Yeaaaahhh awesomee!” After a month, one has to wonder if they really enjoyed the risky nightly battles or just the rewarding company of each other. 

Behind these catfishing characters of League of Legends are Chieh (the best Tristana player on Earth) and Jerry (the kindest Nami player in the world). Two rooms, two laptops, and tons of flirtatious, suggestive messages flying back and forth. Deep beneath the catfish surface, there is something enchanting about a Yordle and a Mermaid. Between matches, they’d trade stories, laugh about silly plays, and slowly realize they aren’t just having fun; they are falling in love. Perhaps, fun and love are one and the same when it comes to two soulmates.

Eight years later, the two strangers are officially queuing into the biggest duo lane challenge of all: marriage. But, luckily, they have shared goals, romantic buffs that never run out, and years of spellcasting experiences. Now, the two cuties are grinning from ear to ear to share this new adventure with you.
